Thank you <3

I don’t remember where I got this audio so I upload the file lol
let me know if you find some mistake
During the first season, I did not understand his humour. Colin is very sarcastic. Then I discovered that he’s really funny, the humor very particular, very different from my other friends. He really is a good guy. Exactly as Arthur and Merlin and we became inseparable on the set.

Absolutely. I always thought the show should end with a long conversation between Merlin and Arthur. A face to face where they’d talk about everything on their hearts and all secrets would finally be revealed. The last episode is like that. Colin and I were able to play all the nuances of the relationship between these two men that are the best friends in the world despite their differences. These scenes have been very emotional for me and it was a way for me to say goodbye to Colin. I love this guy, even though I made fun of him and even hit him on set all the time! (laughs)

One of my favorite description of Arthur is one from the book ‘The Poisoned Chalice’ because I think it describes perfectly how Arthur felt about being ‘The Once and Future’ and how he felt about all those times ‘someone or something’ helped him through all these years… I think he DID realize that something ‘magical’ was helping him that’s why even though he was kind of ‘afraid’ of magic at the end he accepted and thanked Merlin that ‘easily’.
As far as he knew, all he was destined for was to beking some day. And he had known that back when he
was still small enough to sit on his father’s knee; although
it had been a few more years before he had understood
the implications. The light had guided him out of
danger, clear of those caves. It had certainly safeguarded
his future for the time being.
He wondered if it - or who or whatever was behind
it - would play a hand in his destiny again. And if so,
what then? It was a daunting, double-edged sort of
sword to have hanging over your head. On the one
side, an alleged destiny and the idea of some hidden
guardian watching over him; while on the other, finding
himself under magical protection with a father for whom
the very word magic was abhorrent.
One day Arthur might very well sit on the throne at
Camelot. For today, only mystery and confusion reigned…
I KNOW it’s not a ‘short quote’ but I can’t help myself :P

THANK YOU SO MUCH! <33
As I said in earlier posts this blog started just as a personal blog, I just wanted a place to left my ‘favorites quotes’ from the show and now this!

Thanks for all the support through this almost 2 years and don’t forget the ask box is always open for your suggestions.

There’s a few I can remember..
from season 1 this one from this scene probably
or this quote from here (season 3)
and obviously this one from the last episode.
I hope this could help, and good luck with your cosplay!
I left this question here if someone knows another one the ask box is always open to your suggestions.

Now, the reveal scene itself is everything you could want. Merlin’s tearful confession and Arthur’s reaction - ranging from incredulity, to shock, to disbelief at his own ignorance, to anger at his friend - are perfectly judged.
Our one niggle is this - why does Merlin confess now? He’s had ample chance to do it many times throughout the course of this show’s run - there have been times when revealing the truth would’ve saved his own life or the lives of others, and yet he picks this particular moment to tell Arthur all.
Yes, they’re in a tight spot and all seems lost, but isn’t that always the case on this show? You’re left with the feeling that the reveal happens simply because this is the final episode.
